Eurofedop supports protest action Justice Union Serbia

Belgrade (Serbia), 05.09.2007

Tuesday 4 September 2007

All the versions of this article:

On 5 September 2007, the Autonomous Trade Union of Judiciary Employees in Serbia is organising a protest action at the Nicola Pasic Square in Belgrade. Through these actions the Union expresses its frustration and disappointment towards the Government, after a long process of collective negotiations on wages in the justice sector.

EUROFEDOP fully supports this action.

Employees in the justice sector in Europe face more problems every day related to overpopulated prisons and an unhygienic and unsafe working environment. They are employees dedicated to contributing to a safe and secure society and should be rewarded accordingly.

From Brussels we wish the best results for our Serbian Union through this action.

Bert Van Caelenberg, Secretary General Eurofedop
